Emotion UI 1.5 with JellyBean 4.1 ready for upgrade for Huawei Ascend P1

We are releasing the first beta release for Emotion UI 1.5 on Jellybean for all your Ascend P1 devices across the countries in the globe. The upgrade comes with the following features:
Integrated Jellybean 4.1.1:  Jelly Bean not only made android run smoother than ever before but make the OS truly smarter with improved notifications area and offline voice-to-text support features.
Google Now:  Yes! This upgrade had Google Now feature with which information comes to you before you even realize you need it. Your device learns your habits, interests and so on, and then offer up relevant traffic, weather and point-of-interest information just before time.

New Music player Attractive UI:  Music not only will please your ears but will also please your eyes with very interesting & appealing UI designs.
                             

Better Camera:  Double-click on viewfinder to focus and capture any beautiful picture shot. Hardware”Volume up” key is supported to take pictures & video recording. You can also pause & continue re-shooting.
Expandable Notification bar:  The notification bar can do more than ever. You have an option to disable notification for particular Applications. It can now expand, to show you a portion of your inbox, rather than just the number of emails waiting for you.
Better Contacts application:  Contact application is an integrated experience where it’s going to be easy to access your call logs, dialer & contacts.
More themes + downloads from Emotion UI website: You can download more themes from our websites.
Integrated world clock, stop watch and timer with best visual effects.
Lock screens:  Get quick access to the most required application by customizing your lock screen.  Change the complete look and feel where in one look you can get to see number of missed calls and unread messages.
Settings:  More frequently used settings are listed in general settings and you have easy controls for all the settings.
* Declaration
Some Know issues with this build:
  • Power consumption is slightly higher compared to that of ICS
  • Dolby sound quality is not to its best, however it will be optimized in the next release
  • FM Radio is not available in this upgrade
  • HDMI is not supported

    Where are the additional themes?? Any chance to get an app to make them or even convert from MIUI ones?

    I've installed the upgrade and i'm very pleased!
    Would be very nice to have the FM radio and to be able to add our own wallpapers to the native app that changes wallpapers automatically.

    Bug in Android 4.1 release

    The phone has since Android 4.1 no sound on the MHL to HDMI cable.
    This is very unfortunate because we have seen over the PlayStore movies on TV with Phone. I must now return to an old release

    I had some issues at initial setting of gmail account. As I don't have 3G and I was not able to add wi-fi, so I ignored it and added later.
    I remember some dificulties setting wi-fi but don't remember details.
    Did you tryed to reboot and try again?

    yes, i did. I even tried to modify the wi-fi advanced settings but didn't work. I found that this issue is typical of some custom roms. At the moment I'm thinking of this 4.1.2 B528 rom:

    great job guys
    but I chose the CM10.1 mod. Reasons?
    1st 4.2
    2nd build size
    3rd i didn't like the homescreen of EUI
    So sell more efficiency and performance please. I really like you guys )

    I for one would reward the developers and work with them, not compete with them.

      Hi , my device ascend P1 curretly version "B336" is a ROM to download the page "huawei News" and i can not restore with the folder "Intermediatepack" used for the "Downgrade" ... Please i need help to get back to the original firmware!!!

    I was very pleased after JB+EMUI1.5 installation on my Ascend P1 until I tried to run FM radio. Please enable this function somehow. I have to have this version because all previous versions have too silent earphone output.
    Nice that you keep older phones updated, so keep it up!

    upgraded my Ascend P1 ICS (official firmware) to JB+EmotionUI 1.5 less than 2 months ago : everything was fine (sound level is much more louder with JB rather than ICS) except I got "not enough of internal memory" messages and now I am even not able to get my emails... 32 gb external SD card is 50% full... I did uninstall a lot of application, move a lot of applications to SD as much as possible, but it seems that something is crunching the internal memory time after time :-( no idea to sort it out except reinstall android again.

    Same issue as person above, keep running out of internal memory. Moved as much as possible to memory card, sometimes cannot even update some built in software because of this issue. This spoils an otherwise great phone, any ideas if this can or will be fixed, thanks.

    Hi. Been running the 4.1 update for a couple of months. All works fine, execept that Google have released some updates to their apps, Gmail, Youtube, Hangouts, Music etc etc etc. My P1 has now run ut of internal memory becuase of thes apps. I do not have any other apps installed!! None of the Google apps can be moved to the SD card. A temporary workaround is to uninstall all the Google updates. Disable some of the less frequently used apps (Books, Magazines etc). Then update the remaining apps. Although it's a bit more responsice now it has stillrun out of memory. I think Huawei need to release an updated. Even if it does not have a new version of JellyBean it should have the latest versions of Google Apps which would release the memory taken up by the updates.

    Many of you say it's a very nice rom but all that my mind sees is either non working wi fi, either strange noise when making a call. So how is this so awesome?All I can see is that is bullshit.I guess there wont be any good update for this phone official or not...

    Hello who can help me with my huawei ascend D2 emotion ui 1.5. D2-0082V100R001C00B013? I can call for about 2 minutes and then stops the call !!! Everything else works correctly.
    They are in Italy.
